Mr. Field was a retired Captain for Louisville Fire Department Quad # 10. Untied States Navy veteran and Catholic by faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Kathleen Keough Field.
Survivors include his loving children, Terry Field (Karen), Rhonda Abner (David), Kimberly Church (Charles), Kevin R. Field (Marie) and Lori E. Field; brother, Don Field; sisters Kathleen Field and Virginia McDougal; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
His funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hwy. Burial: Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, KY. Visitation: Monday, 2-8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona.
