I am so sorry that I am just now hearing of this great loss. Ray was an awesome man who truly loved and cared for the folks he worked for. We shared many conversations about common goals we had for individuals we both loved. Rest In Peace Ray. As you lived your life here on earth as an angel to many so shall you spread your wings divinely in Heaven. Prayers for comfort to all your loved ones that you leave behind.

Ray and I worked together in Social Services for years. He was a joy to work with - his dry sense of humor, his dedication to his clients and his compassion for the underprivileged. He gave me great horse racing tips too! It was an honor to know him especially watching his joy at the birth of each child that he and Patty brought into this world! I am so terribly sad that such a loving person is no longer with us. Please know that his Foster Care team expresses its condolence.

Raymond and I met in junior high school and soon became fast friends. Along with Billy Belknap, we were the Three Musketeers. Later at OCHS friend Billy was replaced by Ricky Noel. We had lots of great times. After graduating HS we kept in touch once in awhile during college years, but gradually I lost track of Raymond with the exception of a class reunion a number of years ago. My sincere condolences to Ray’s family, the world is diminished without him.
