Raymond was always there for anyone in need and was nicknamed ‘Mr. Goodwrench’ due to his ability to fix things.
Raymond is survived by his daughter; Candyce (Roger) Knight, and 4 grandchildren; Matthew (Nicole) Wilkins, Chad Young, Megan (Jack) Williams and Jessica Young.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Aleene Young, and two sons Darrell and Shawn Young.
A memorial service for Raymond will be 2pm Saturday July 26th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
