Becky worked at UPS for over 29 years. After UPS, she graduated from Galen College of nursing where she earned her BSN and began her career with the VA Hospital.

Becky’s happy place was the beach, especially Gulf Shores with her friends and family. She was a big animal lover and loved all of her fur babies, Finn, Abby, and Allie. She was an avid sports fan. Becky’s favorite teams were the Atlanta Braves and the UK Wildcats.

Becky is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her brother in law Kevin Ward.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband: Sean T. Smith; her son: Alex Smith (Maria); her daughter: Erin Smith (Skyler); her mother: Nadine Farmer (Tony); her father: Gary Farmer; her sister: Deana George (Rob); her nephew: Brent Ward; her uncle: Chuck Matz (Andrea); her mother in law: Monika Smith; her sister in law: Sonja Evans (David); her nieces and nephew Whitney Mulkins (Tyler), Ben Evans, and Megan Pugh (Clay); and her lifelong friends.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Becky’s coworkers and friends for the love, kindness, and unwavering support they showed her during her hard fought battle. Your visits, messages, prayers, and acts of compassion brought her comfort and meant more to her and our family than words can express.

Visitation will be 2-8 PM Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218. A service to honor Becky will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, June 17 at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
