Dickie was a retired oiler for Reynolds Aluminum.
He is survived by his wife, Delilah Heavrin Allen; sons Richard W. Allen, Jr. (Robin) and Brian Allen (Leslie); a daughter, Margo Griffin; siblings Bill Allen, Clarke Allen, and Sherry Turner; and grandchildren Chris, Jonathan, Jordan, Jason, Tyler, Makaylee McKnight, and Kingston Hetz.
His funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 3:30 – 9:00 pm Monday.
