I knew Richard in Indiana. He was a good friend and great contractor. Just found out he passed and so sorry.

Two more of the grandchildren Richard and I were blessed to have in our family. Miss these two (Grace and Hart) every day.

Here was another wonderful visitor to our    Florida home.
She (Faith) had to get in the pool on one of the coldest days ever. Note the blue lips.
Definitely her daddy’s girl.


Dogs are always said to be man’s best friend. 
This guy has been wondering about you since Thursday.
He’s behaving but is missing your disciplinarian style and staredowns.

This was a welcoming visit for Richard from James,Michelle,Faith, and Chase.

Richard was good at figuring just about anything out and he could take almost anything and work.
His kayak trailer was one example of an innovative approach to hauling our two fishing kayaks.
I hope that the trailer and kayaks will be enjoyed as much as Richard and I were able to enjoy.

Richard and I enjoyed riding motorcycles but gave the hobby up after our two sons were born.
In 2016 he was able to purchase one of the bikes he had always wanted but those of you who knew him, knew he did not like to spend money on himself. He called me one day when I was in a travel assignment and this was what he bought. 
Unfortunately we did not get to really enjoy any riding.
I hope now you are riding whenever you want.
I know the new owner of this bike will take good care of it.

Richard really enjoyed when he saw either of his sons pick up a hammer or a paint brush.
I know that some days the phone would ring and I would hear “Dad, what do you think about this? How should I do this?”
It really made him feel special when someone asked for his expertise or opinion.
Here is one of the last times he was able to pick up that hammer and put his finishing touches on our shed.
Notice the OSHA approved step stool.


Richard and I enjoyed our time together in  Florida.
We really enjoyed when our families had time to visit.
He was glad to have my son,Richard and his two sons Camaron and Dalton down to our house in Florida for a short time.
Thank you Erin for keeping the Bartoszek household in order while we visited.

Richard enjoyed playing golf. 
The colder day reminded of the time we played at Chariot Run Golf Course in Elizabeth, Indiana.
We dressed appropriately for the weather and went out and had a great time together;Richard always working toward perfection in his game, me just happy to enjoy being with him and the great outdoors.

Peace Richard. You are an model  of goodness and caring. Let’s learn from your example. Tom and Bev Brown
