Richard Lee Dawley “Dick” 60, of Taylorsville passed away December 7, 2013 at Norton Suburban Hospital. He was born in Vine Grove, Kentucky and was raised in Radcliff to the late Raymond and Marjorie Dawley. He loved to coach baseball, softball and football with the Fern Creek Optimist and was an avid Cincinnati Red’s fan. He was retired with over 30 years of service with Winn Dixie.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Dawley Jr.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Jenny Minogue (Kevin) and Jessica Allgeier (Zachary); two sisters, Judith Welker (Steve) and Joyce Clark (Dick); a brother, Roger Dawley; grandchildren, Jaleigh, Kaven, Hunter and Andrew; nine nephews and many other family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Friday at 2pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be from 10-2 on Friday at the funeral home.
