Mr. Richard “Rick” Allen Long, age 65, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, March 30, 2020. Mr. Long was born on February 3, 1955, in Louisville to the late Clayton William Long and Doris (Dick) Kaiser. Mr. Long is a Southern High School graduate. He is a member of Elks Lodge #8. Mr. Long was in the vehicle window replacement service for 30 years. After retirement Mr. Long worked for National Coating and Supply. Rick was a wonderful and caring husband, father, stepfather and grandfather.
Mr. Long was a very genuine friend and never met a stranger.
Among those that preceded him in death are his parents; and brother, Mike Long.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Brenda Whitworth Long; children, Tiffany Long (Shawn), Wayne, Alex and Andrew Long; step-children, Lindsay Whitworth, Gina Taylor and Donald Abell; 4 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren.
