He was a retired electrician for Ready Electric Company. A member of the Masonic Lodge Peewee Valley #829, member of the Scottish Rite, member of the Kosair Temple, Flying Fez unit and a Kentucky Colonel.
Scottie is survived by his wife of fifty years, Shirley Scott, his daughter Stephanie Redmon and her husband Ron, a grandson Jesse Redmon and a sister, Kathy Fisher.
A celebration of his life will be conducted at noon on Friday, February 14, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm Thursday, February 13, 2014.
