Ricky Smith Young

Mr. Young was a retired Auto Body Technician. He was also an avid U.L. fan and a car racing enthusiast, having worked with the Basham racing pit crew at the Sportsdrome. Ricky was a lifelong youth baseball coach, a Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Young and brother, Billy Young.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Mildred Young; children, Tami Skaggs (Deana), Kerri Bline, Lesley Rudolph (Corey Sr.) and Cody Young; siblings, Mack Young (Sue), Judy Simpson (Claude), Gary Young (Lynn), Margo Young and Tony Young; grandchildren, Dylan, Jagger, Dominic, Dalton, Destiney, Corissa, C.J. and Claire; and great-granddaughter, Stella and his beloved dog Precious.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 6pm Wednesday at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held after 2pm Wednesday until the time of the service.

The family requests memorial donations honoring Ricky be directed to Hosparus of Louisville.
