He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin & Mary Amig and his brother, Edward Amig.
Robert is survived by his wife, Cathy Jo Pardon Amig; and his two daughters, Naesha Amig & Janee Amig; his two sisters, Carolyn Glass and Cathy Amig; one brother, Stevie Amig; four sisters in-laws, two brothers in-laws; eleven nieces & nephews, and several cousins.
He was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle. He always enjoyed talking about car models, watching old TV programs, had a love for dogs, C.B. handles and he loved shopping at consignment stores. Robert worked for Leggett and Platt and he was a security guard for Jim Brown Car Lot and he also worked for RC Chemical, making plastic.
A visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213. Visitation will resume on Friday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Robert will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
