Robert Earl Campbell, 76, of Cub Run, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Robley Rex VA Medical Center. He was born on May 20, 1934 to the late James E. Campbell and Elva Hardesty. He was a United States Navy Veteran Serving in Korean War.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Robbie Campbell Jr., two step-sons, Joe Bruce and Mark Bruce; and a brother James Campbell.
He is survived by his daughter Robyn McKnight (Kevin); Step-son, Kenny Bruce (Barbara); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Janet Bryant, Barbara Garr, Brenda Bryant, and Lisa Schackert.
A celebration of his life will be conducted at Noon on Monday October 25, 2010 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 Sunday October 24, 2010 at the funeral home.
