Bob was a graduate of DuPont Manual High School and attended the University of Louisville. Bob was a small business owner throughout most of his life as the owner of Automatic Sales Vending Company and B & M Laundromat. In retirement Bob delivered the Courier-Journal newspapers well into his 80’s.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bell Brent Cassady and Verda Fields Cassady as well as his first wife, Anne Purvis Cassady and his second wife, Juanita Kron Cassady.
He is survived by sons, Don Cassady ( Carole) and Robert Cassady; grandchildren, Brent Cassady (Lauren), Elizabeth and Graeme; step children, Vicki Sample (Sam), Harry Kron ( Jan), Frank Kron (Cindy), Bob Kron (Shirley), Tony Kron (Lisa), Gary Kron (Kelley), Mike Kron, and Ron Kron (Terry).
The family wishes to say goodbye privately with services to be held at a later date. Arch L. Heady at Resthaven are handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family request expression of sympathy to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
