Robert Dale Crume Sr.

Robert D. Crume, Sr. 81, of Zoneton KY, born October 1, 1932 to Jeston and AnnaBell Crume in Poplar Flat KY passed away in the morning hours of Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Norton Pavilion Hosparus Unit. He was an active member of Hillview Community Christian Church, a retired plumber and a farmer.

He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, two brothers and his oldest grandson Benjamin. He leaves behind his wife of 58 ½ years Janet Coyle Crume, his children Bob Jr. (Carmen), Karen (Jack) Donlin, Debbie (Jim) Bridges, Steve (Maelene) and Tim Sr. (Angie). Besides Ben, he is survived by his grandchildren Robert III, Christine, Jodie, Tim Jr., Luke and Shannen, ten great-grandchildren, and was guardian to a very special niece, Marla Jean Hatfield and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brothers, Jack (Margret) and Gene (Hanna) and sister-in law Jean.

A Funeral Service for Robert will be conducted Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 12:00pm in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm.

The family wishes to thank and acknowledge the overwhelming support, care and compassion of Hosparus. Daddy, you are gone, but your legacy will continue on due to your faith and being a great husband and father.
