He was a native of Salisbury, Maryland. He was a US Army veteran and a retired printing salesman for Merrick Printing Co. He was a long time member of Audubon Country Club, where he enjoyed golf and fitness. In his free time, he enjoyed watching family and friends play baseball and tennis. He also enjoyed walking at Creason Park and making friends with strangers. He was a passionate University of Louisville sports fan.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Robin Barr and her spouse Thomas. Grandchildren are, T.J. Barr and his spouse Erinn and Amanda Barr and great granddaughter, Lilly Barr, Bob's siblings, Marie Graef and spouse Ted and Charles Dixon.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12-2PM at Arch L. Heady Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville KY. 40218. A funeral service will be held at 2PM in the Heady chapel with interment to follow immediately after in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
