He was born on March 23, 1961 in Louisville to the late Jay and Marcella Kappesser. Bob was a graduate of Ballard High School and an electrician by trade for over 40 years as a part of the IBEW Local 369.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, James and Larry Kappesser.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Clara Day Kappesser; son, Cory Kappesser; daughter, Callie Kappesser; sister, Susan McMinoway; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026 from 4 to 8 pm and on Friday, July 3rd from 10 to 11 am, both at Arch L. Heady - Cralle Funeral Home (2428 Frankfort Ave). A funeral service will take place on Friday at 11am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
