Bobby loved to spend time at Churchill Downs where he studied the racing programs and racing forms to place his bets, laughing at himself when his predictions were wrong. Bobby was a die-hard University of Louisville athletics fan where he held season tickets for Cardinal football for many years. He turned into quite the “foodie” and appreciated a great farm-to-table meal and supporting local farmers whenever possible. Bobby’s favorite place on earth was Key West, Florida where he could have passed for Hemingway, but convinced everyone in town that he was Jimmy Buffett’s cousin. Most all, Bobby loved his family. He had a special place in his heart for his pets, and even more room for his human family.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father (Charles Keller), his mother (Helen Keller), two brothers (Bernard Keller and Donald Keller), brother-in-law (Joseph Boren), and sister-in-law (Kim Keller).
He leaves a legacy of kindness and joy for his remaining siblings Charles A. Keller Jr. (Judy), David Keller, Mary Corbin (Richard), Patricia Boren and sister-in-law Donna Keller. His nieces and nephews Scott Corbin (Brandy), Chance Keller, Dana Lantz (Chris), Shawn Keller (Elizabeth), Adam Keller (Krista), Jason Keller (Karen), Joseph Boren (Tamara), and Amanda Long (Michael) will continue to share loving stories and memories of their Uncle Bobby with generations of great nieces and nephews for years to come.
