Robert Henry Lewis

Robert Henry Lewis, 94, of Louisville was born on January 5, 1924 in Cave City Kentucky to the late O. V. and Bertha (Beckner) Lewis and passed from this life on April 12, 2018. Mr. Lewis was a retired employee of the old Naval Ordinance, a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, a proud graduate of du Pont Manual High School class of 1942, and a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gennetta Lewis. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Don Lewis (Lidia) and Craig Lewis (Karen); a daughter, Karen Lewis; a brother, Thomas Lewis; and grandsons, Corey and Tim Lewis. Funeral services for Mr. Lewis will be held at noon on Monday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment with military will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
