Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Thelma Wright. Here to carry on his memory is his adoring wife of 52 years, Relda Wright; their children Bryan Wright (Maggie) and Ashley Colon (Will); grandchildren Luke, Sarah, Michael, Maggie, Abby, and Emma; and a host of extended family and friends.
Mike proudly served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He then went on to become a master plumber and then a salesman at Lowe's.Mike loved gardening, going to the beach, and eating out with his family.
Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40218, on October 10, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a funeral service in Mike's honor to begin at 2:00 PM. Mike will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association.
