Robert L. Novak, 83, of Louisville formerly of Highland, Indiana, passed away December 28, 2011, at his home. He was born on March 28, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Lawrence and Ann Eglieski Novak. He was a retired Boiler Maker with Inland Steel now ArcelorMittal Steel.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alma Doss Novak; two daughters, Karen Bensonhaver and Larissa Blackledge; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Friday, December 30, 2011, at 2:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10-2 on Friday at the funeral home.
