Robert "Sawyer" Dott

He was born on March 3, 1998, to Bob and Sonya Dott. Sawyer is preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Joyce Dott, William F. and Barbara Scott, and uncle, Ralph Dott. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Bob and Stacy Dott, Sonya and Nick Koch; sister, Claire Koch; aunts and uncles, Don Dott (Sarah Lynn Cunningham), Shelley Cook (Steve), Bruce Scott (Kendra), Terra O'Brien (Scott); cousins, Sarah (Marty), Jeffrey, Madeline, Kasie (Chris), Chloe, Mandy (Antonio), Amy (Dakota), Shelby, Will, and Keegan as well as a host of other family and friends.

Sawyer was a graduate of Ballard High School class of 2016 and went on to perform many jobs in his career. He was a lover of people and lived a full and colorful life. He adored being on the lake and in the outdoors, whether kayaking, fishing, hiking, or snowboarding. Sawyer had a huge heart for charity and would always help anyone in need. He also had a special place in his heart for animals and deeply loved his family. He never met a stranger and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to meet him.

A memorial service to celebrate Sawyer will take place on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 3pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd., Louisville, KY 40222, with visitation prior from 11am-3pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Sawyer's name to The Kentucky Humane Society, The Lord's Kitchen, or a favorite charity of your choosing.
