Roberta Biven

Born to the late Maurice Kaelin and Viola Kidwell, Roberta is also preceded in passing by her step-mother Anna Kaelin, her beloved husband of 46 years Gerald Biven, and her brother Jerry Kaelin.

Here to carry on her memory is her son, Mark Biven, daughter-in-law Debbie Shelton, brother Donald Kaelin (Mary), grandchildren Alyssa Biven and Eric Biven, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Roberta will always be remembered as a caring, kind soul with a deep love for people. She never met a stranger and loved surrounding herself with others. She selflessly volunteered at Hosparus for over 10 years. Roberta was a devoted member to Southeast Christian Church, attending over 30 years, and recently serving as a greeter and pastoral greeter. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Dr, Louisville, KY 40205.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. A funeral service in Roberta’s honor will begin immediately at 2:00 pm.
