He was an Army veteran and a member of the AmVets Post #61 and the American Legion G.I. Joe Post 224.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.
He is survived by his wife: Debbie Ostrander, his children; Paula Braun (Gene) amd Roger Ostrander Jr., (Leslie) two surviving siblings and four grandchildren.
A funeral service to celebrate Roger’s life will be conducted at 10am on Friday, February 16, 2018 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with interment to follow at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8 p.m. on February 15, 2018.
