Roger D. Stivers, age 66 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Jewish Hospital.Roger was a groomer at Churchill Downs for over 40 years.He was preceded in death by his father James C. Stivers; brothers Bobby Stivers and Mark Michalski.Survivors include his mother Sue Michalski; brothers Keith Stivers (Anne Chandler), Tim, David, and Steven Michalski; sister Jennifer L. Stivers; goddaughter Lyssa Miller Dragoo; godson Westley Miller; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.His memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at OD White & Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will be private. Visitation is Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
