He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Velma Wilson, his brothers, Jerry and Gene, and his sister Vivian.
He is survived by his daughter Connie (Steve), son Roger Alan (Irene), 3 grandchildren, Jeremy (Sarah), Jessica (Cody), and Leslie, and 4 great grandchildren.
Roger retired from GE and the U.S. Army. He was very active in the community throughout his life. He could be found coaching basketball or little league, leading the Boy Scouts, League bowling, chairing the Optimist Club and even in his later years, at his home in Florida, a member of C.O.P.S. (Citizens On Patrol).
Dad, we will miss your humor and never-ending optimism. We love you and will see you again.
