Rolando Severino Ravelo Cruz, 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. He was born on January 8, 1945 in Havana Cuba to the late Miguel Ravelo and Recla Cruz. Rolando came to the US in 2010 and immediately made many dear friends! He is known for his generosity toward others and his deep love for his wife and children.
Rolando was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister,Jolanda and Magalys.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 51 years, Candida; children, Alba Llopiz (Guillermo Sanchez), Rolando Ravelo, Iliana Ravelo, Roberto Llopiz, Jorge Luis Llopiz; grandchildren, Andria Lao (Yunior), Robert David Vazquez (Brandy); dearest friends, Ana Gloria and Klevi Lao; caregivers, Grace Torres and Maydelis PIneiro; many extended family members, dear friends, and wonderful neighbors!
The Celebration of Life will be Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona Chapel, 8519 Preston Highway 40219. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service at 3:00 pm.
