Romer Cummings, 81, passed away on Sunday November 14, 2021. He was born on March 5, 1940 in Edmonson Co., KY to the late Rasinal and Nina (Miller) Cummings. He was preceded in death by two sons, Tony & Richard Cummings, a sister Peggy Moore, and brother’s Jerome Cummings, and Nathan Cummings. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Nina Harrington, Deborah Garza, Joanie Cummings, Jannie Cummings-Gordy, Beau Cummings and Jeffrey Cummings; brothers, Bernard and Van Cummings; and sister, Diane Mabe; 15 grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Cremation of the remains was chosen. A memorial service will be held on Monday November 22, 2021 from 2-4 pm at Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd.
