He was a former computer programmer / analyst, having spent much of his career in Lexington, and a member of Beth Haven Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Louise Pippin, a brother, Rob Pippin, and a nephew, Gregory Allen Hatfield.
Survivors include a brother, Mike Pippin; sister, Kathie Hatfield; niece, Jessica Coates; and great-niece, Braylynn Coates.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial gathering and celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
