He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis & Helen Whiteside; daughter, Brenda Lee; and siblings, Carolyn Taylor, Richard Whiteside, & Doris Adams.
Ronald worked as a Welder for Louisville Gas and Electric for 35 years. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a Marine for life, holding close the conviction of, “Once a Marine, Always a Marine.”
Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 58 years, Carol Lee; daughters, Linda Carol Gambrall (Anthony), Janet Kay Whiteside, & Joy Lynn Steinrock (Josh); 6 grandchildren, Nicole Gambrall, Austin Gambrall, Carlee Gambrall, Andrew Steinrock, Kyra Steinrock, Eviana Steinrock; siblings, Larry Whiteside & Norma Blandford.
A Private Graveside Service for the family will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park.
