Ms. Allocca was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 16, 1930. She was retired from the Defense Mapping Agency, where she was a Cartographer. She also served our country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Antoinette Mariorano Allocca, and also by three brothers and three sisters.
Rose is survived by her longtime friend, Goldia "Fran" Fischer; several nieces and nephews, and was cared for by Fran's sister Sharon Bradford and her family.
A celebration of life service will be held for Rose on Monday at 2:00 PM at the Arch L. Heady @ Resthaven Funeral Home at 4400 Bardstown Road in Louisville. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00PM on Monday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made in Rose's name to Hosparus and/or the Kentucky Humane Society.
