Rose Marie Fischer

She was born to the late Anna and Robert Williams. Also preceding her in passing is her brothers; Robert H. Jr. Williams, and James Stewart Williams, daughter-in-law, Vickie Sue Fischer, granddaughter, Dale Marie Fischer, and furry companion, Monique. Rose Marie was a graduate of Atherton High School and took some classes at the University of Louisville. She was a founding member of The Citizens Police Academy, volunteering her time to the county, city, and metro police departments of Jefferson County. Rose was also a member of Louisville Miniature Club and Avon’s President Club. When Rose wasn’t volunteering her time to others, she was travelling with her husband, Carl R. Fischer, Sr. They have travelled the entire state of Kentucky and many other places.

Here to cherish her memory is her husband of 64 years, Carl Sr., sons; Carl R. Fischer, Jr., Stewart Fischer (Roxana), and Joseph R. Fischer (Tonya), grandchildren; Jessica Rae (Tim), Ashley Rose (Justin), Joel Thomas, Alexis Kellen, Sydney Nicole (James), great-children; Marissa and Jaeger, and Michael, the bird.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 13 from 4-7PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will begin at 1pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven on Friday, April 14, 2023. Rose Marie will be laid to rest within Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
