

Kerr-Singleton, Rose, 94, had her final curtain call on February 23, 2016. Rose was a loving and caring woman, who was proud of both her children and grandchildren's accomplishments. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church, 50 years a member of Eastern Star, Pride of Kentucky Sweet Adelines, Young Hearts Theatre, and founder of Showtime Seniors. Rose retired from Independent Container Corporation as an accounting supervisor. She became Ms. Senior Kentucky in 1997. She volunteered with Hospice, Senior Citizens East, Travel Guide, and with several nursing homes and retirement communities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kerr Sr., husband, Santford Singleton, and granddaughter, Cynthia Kerr.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert Kerr Jr. (Jean), James Kerr (Joy), Thomas Kerr (Lisa), William Kerr (Tracey), and Daniel Kerr (Bonnie); 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and a host of loving family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-8:00pm and Saturday 12:00-2:00pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be privately held at Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will be held in the Private Event Room at Evergreen following the entombment.
In lieu of the customary forms of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in Rose's name to the American Cancer Society.
