Rosella L. Thomas

Rosella L. "Rose" Thomas, 62, of LaGrange, passed away on the morning of May 31, 2012 with her loving family by her side. She was the former Rosella Langdon and a Catholic by faith. She had worked in the medical field as a recovery room nurse throughout her career. Rose loved gardening and was a great cook, but her life revolved around her husband, children, grandchildren and her extended family. Family gatherings were extrememly important to her.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Junie Elmer and Mary Elizabeth Miller Langdon, her brother, James R. Langdon and her beloved dog Molly.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 39 years, Stephen A. Thomas; children, Katie Thomas Fackler and Ryan (Kari) Thomas; grandchildren, Kylah and Cole Fackler; brothers, David (Nancy), Chuck (Mary) and Wayne (Vickie) Langdon, along with nieces and nephews.

Rose's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Crusade for Children and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
