Roy M. Basham

Roy enjoyed travelling around the country listening to his favorite music. If Roy and Gail were not travelling, Roy was outside landscaping or gardening. He had a green thumb, growing everything from different flowers, vegetables and different plants. There was not much that Roy couldn't do, or wouldn't mind to learn if it meant helping others. His career started as an Iron worker at RI Incorporated to becoming an owner of the business.

Here to cherish his memory is his wife, Gail Basham, children; Hope Basham and Scott Bailey, grandchildren; Whitney Taylor (Brandon) and Hannah Vaugh (Nick), siblings, Danny Basham (Susie) and Joy Dambros (Dennis), nieces and nephews, and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will occur on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM- 8:00PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.

A funereal service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Roy will be entombed in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
