Ruby Jean Blanford, age 82, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. She loved reading books while sitting in the sun and playing rummy. Texas Roadhouse was her favorite restaurant and she had a long time love affair with Victor Newman on The Young and the Restless! Nothing compared to her joy of spending time with her family!
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Curtis Jr; her daughter, Patricia Walker; and her grandparents who raised her, Marion and Ellie Martin.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Mike Curtis (Lynne); grandchildren, Christina, Hayden, Sarah, Brittney, and Macen.
Ruby's family wishes to thank her second family, the staff of Wesley Manor, for their compassion and exceptional care during her later years in life.

A graveside service for Ruby will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, 4915 Harrodsburg Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky 40356.
