She was a long-time resident of Brownsboro Park Retirement Community, a homemaker and a member of Lyndon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Sheridan Minter and Kenneth Murphy.
She is survived by a son, Michael Minter of Highland, NY; daughter, Shirley Minter Trempel (William); grandchildren, Cynthia Trempel Batchelder, Rebecca Trempel and David Trempel; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marie Newman.
Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home, 7410 Westport Road. Visitation is Thursday from 2-8 p.m. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
