

He was born October 28, 1925 in Arma, KS the son of Frank and Mary Schweiger. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Marion Schweiger; and his second wife, Martha Dierken.
Rudy had worked at General Electric for over 40 years as an Electrical Engineer. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII and a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. He was a very dedicated and devoted father and grandfather and also enjoyed playing bridge, dancing, and his many handyman projects.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Rudy (Susan), Mark (Mary), Ed (Jane), Mary Cloud (Jim) and Paul (Becky); his grandchildren, Brittany, Kyle, Nathan, Steven, Chris, Bethany, Laura and Nicholas; his great-grandchildren, Phillip, Alex and Aubrey and one brother, Frank Schweiger.
A mass to celebrate Rudy’s life will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Dr. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Friday at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd.
