Ruth C. Dean, 79, of Louisville passed away March 11, 2014 at her home. She was born on May 24, 1934 in Washington County, Kentucky to the late Everett and Bessie Coulter Dean. She was a member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and the lady’s group Philoptochos.
She is survived by her brother, Percy Dean and a dear friend and caretaker Elizabeth G. Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday March 14, 2014 at Noon with Father Larry Legakis officiating at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 930 Ormsby Lane, Louisville, Kentucky 40242 with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. There will be a mercy meal offered at the church after the cemetery service.
Visitation will be from 10-12 on Friday at the church. Arch L. Heady at Resthaven are entrusted with arrangements.
