Ruth L. Fischer, of Louisville passed away September 4, 2012 at Nazareth Home. She was born on April 7, 1923 to the late Arthur and Adeline Neff Mueller. She was retired from Standard Oil with over 41 years of service. She was an avid bowler holding one of the highest averages in Kentucky, a Kentucky Colonel, member of American Turners Club and was of the outstanding women in Kentucky for bowling.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Muller Jr., and a sister, Helen Weber.
She is survived by her nephew, Bob Weber (Jeannie); a niece, Diann Hillenbrand; great-niece, Jennifer Weber-Hale (Jeff); and a great-nephew, Jim Weber (Carole).
The family would like to thank the staff at Nazareth Home for the care and compassion.
A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday at Nazareth Home, 2000 Newburg Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Arch L. Heady at Resthaven are entrusted with arrangements.
