Ruth "Babe" F. Floyd Jackson

She was the former Ruth Evelyn Floyd, a native of Union County, KY, a retired bookkeeper with the Jefferson County Public Schools, a charter member of the old Fleur-de-lis Chapter (Retirees) of the American Business Women's Association and a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Miran Jackson; a sister, Rita Crain; and her brother, Paul Floyd.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Rogers and her husband Wayne, of Brooks, KY; her son, Mark Jackson and his wife Diana, of Oviedo, FL; granddaughters Cindy (Jason) Hundley and Amy Reesor; great-granddaughter Callie Reesor; great-grandson Tyler Hundley; and her sister, Martha (Jack) Distler.

Her celebration of life service will be held in the chapel of the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home located at 4400 Bardstown Road on Saturday at 10:00AM. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00-8:00PM. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
