Ruth A. Rorem, 91 of Louisville, passed away November 26, 2018. She was born December 24, 1926 to the late George Nicolas Brocklehurst and Della Mae Harris Brocklehurst. Ruth spent much of her life being a homemaker and devoted member of Southeast Christian Church.
Ruth is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years: Lawrence W. Rorem.
She is survived by her daughters: Ruth (Norman) Schenk, Beth (Robert) Fixler, Gail (Thomas) Turi, and Mary (Stephen) Heiniger; her 22 grandchildren; her 10 great-grandchildren; and her brother: George Lindsay Brocklehurst.

Funeral services will be 12 PM Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Rd Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-12 PM at the funeral home.
