She was born to Goldie and Joseph Sohn in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 16th, 1939 - the youngest of six. Her path eventually intertwined with that of Ruben Saldivar, who would become her beloved husband. Together, they navigated life's complexities until Ruben's passing in 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories.
Her spirit lives on through her daughter, Natalie Gann, her son-in-law William Gann, and her granddaughter, Kathrine Gann. Ruth's elder sister, Christine Armstrong, will continue to hold dear the times they shared. Velcro Cat, her furry cat companion, will miss her warm presence. Ruth's memory will also be cherished by a host of family friends who were touched by her kindness throughout her life.
Ruth's professional life was marked by many years of dedicated service at NIBCO, where she retired after a fulfilling career.
Beyond her work, Ruth found pleasure in the simple things. She was an avid fan of the movies and television, especially
the Lawrence Welk Show, which brought her much joy and entertainment. She had a love for animals and often donated to many charities.
