He was a Vietnam Army veteran and a Purple Heart recipient having served with the 4th Infantry Division 1st Battalion, 12 Regiment Alpha Company.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, James E. and Dorothy Springer Cilone; and his son, Troy Edwin Cilone.
Survivors include his sons, Samuel Louis Cilone, Jr. (Susan) and Kevin Courtenay Cilone (Renea); siblings, Margie Price and Donald Cilone; and grandson, Troy David Cilone.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Friday and after 10 a.m. on Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home.
