On a beautiful Friday afternoon, Samuel Branch McKinney III roared off this earthly plane. He hit Heaven’s golden streets on an Imperial blue Yamaha Raider and seconds later began eternal wind therapy.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Branch McKinney Jr and Earlean (Sneegas).
He was the older brother to Alison Collins and Marcy Quinn. Sam is also survived by his niece, Katy Quinn Hull, and two nephews, Hunter and Chris Collins. An aunt, Susan (Will) McKinney Bockoven and numerous cousins also survive him.
A genius with all things mechanical, Sam was a gifted singer, a faithful prayer warrior, and a treasured friend to many. In facing his terminal illness, Sam was one of the purest examples of faith, courage and strength ever seen. His kind heart, goodness and gentle spirit will be missed.
The family wishes to thank Sam's dedicated doctors, as well as the compassionate staff at Hosparus, for the exceptional care they provided him.
