Sandra Joyce Butts, 83, from Louisville, Ky passed peacefully from this life on November 3, 2023. She was the revered matriarch of her branch of the Butts family. She had a challenging upbringing but with those hard learned lessons she led and taught 3 generations of Butts how to honor God and be hard working and self-reliant. She always stood on her own and never asked anyone for anything or took anything she didn’t earn and she taught those lessons to her children grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but we as her family understand how lucky we were to have her and more importantly learn from her lessons that will continue for generations to come. Thank God you were our teacher and role model. She was preceded in death by her parents Zedeth and Aloysius Jacobs her sister and best friend Anita McGinnis and her daughter Tangie Middleton. Left to cherish her memory are her son Eddie Butts and her daughter Teri Hupp ; sister Debbie Cole Grandchildren Christopher Butts , Elizabeth Butts and Nikolas Butts and great grandchildren Jace and Ella Gusler and Saige wood.
