Sandra is preceded in passing by her father, Norman Johnson. She is survived by her mother, Ida Johnson; her brother Perry Johnson (Victoria); beloved nieces and nephews Camille Pavone, Jeanelle Hume (Hunter), and Micah Johnson; great-nieces and great-nephews Christiana, Makaylee, Hunter, and Alexander; her dear friend Eileen; and her fur-ever friend Tigger.
Growing up Sandra often traveled with her family to Florida and Eighteen Mile Island on the Ohio River, where she enjoyed boating, swimming, and looking for arrowheads to add to her collection. She went on to volunteer for many years at the Methodist Hospital.
A visitation will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in Sandra’s honor will begin at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Sandra will be laid to rest at a later date in Resthaven Memorial Park.
