Sandra Ross

Sandra was deeply beloved, a devoted mother and grandmother, and a hard-working presence in the lives of those who knew her. She spoke her mind with a spirited, spicy candor that could bring laughter and honesty to any room, and she was often the life of the party. She never knew a stranger and was widely known for her kindness—an open hearted way of meeting people that made others feel seen and welcome. Above all, her children were her entire world, and her grandkids were the light of her life.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, James W. Brown Sr. and Judy Carol Brown; her brother, James "J.B." Brown; her sister, Joy Burger; her brother-in-law, Terry Burger; and her best friend over over 30 years, Vickie Warren.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Carrie J. Brown, Amber Ross, Robert Wesley Ross (Shawn); her grandchildren, Aubrey Jaymes Brown, Rylee Mae Ross, Baylee Kay Ross; her aunt, Polly Murphy; her cousins, Jeff and John Murphy; her niece, Caitlyn Burger; her nephew, Matthew Burger; her beloved fur babies; as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

A visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral home in, Louisville, Kentucky, on August 19, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Funeral service will follow on the same date at 2:00 PM.
