Sue was born November 11,1945 to Charles and Magdalene Ward in Louisville, KY.
She is preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
Sue is survived by her husband of over 47 years, Kenneth Akridge. Her children: Kenneth (Robin) Akridge, Jr., Darrell (LaDonna) Akridge, and Michelle (Gary) Satler. Sue is also survived by her sister, Sharon (Bobby) McGeorge and her brother, Wallace Ward; and her six grand-children.
A Celebration of Sue’s Life Service will be on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 10am at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville. Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2015 from 2pm to 8pm. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
