She was born September 6, 1935, the daughter of the late John and Thelma Powell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Jeanette Powell.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her childhood friend and husband of 56 years, William Earl Robinson; a daughter Dana Dowdle (Joe); four grandchildren, Christina Cleary (David), Amanda East (Michael) Eric and Shawn Dowdle, and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Powell; two sisters, Catherine Corbett and Linda Burge (Gary).
Cremation was chosen, and there will be no visitation. Please join her family at a Mass in celebration of her life at 11:00 AM on Saturday October 29, 2011 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40219.
