She was the former Margaret Williams. She was a retired production planner with American Air Filter and a member of South Louisville Christian Church where she was past treasurer.
Mrs. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Norman Downs; and her parents, Fred A. and Nora Williams.
Survived by her daughter, Mary E. Douthitt (Joe); sister, Mary Larsgaard; and grandson J. Matthew Douthitt (Shelley).
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Friday at O. D. White & Sons, 2727 S. 3rd Street, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
